Førrevassdammen, a Norwegian power plant

Once a pioneer,
always a pioneer

Clean energy is in our DNA.

In fact, it’s been that way since 1895 when some intrepid Norwegian pioneers began developing our first hydropower plant. Today, our ambition is to complete one new power plant every nine days from 2025.

You could say that we have always believed in a better kind of power. Power that renews itself, and in turn, renews the world. Power that creates a positive and sustainable future for people, communities, industries, and the environment.

For us, though, pioneering is about more than just producing power: it’s about raising standards, showing care for people, society, and the planet.

Because once a pioneer, always a pioneer.
